CEO: Col. Keith Seiwell USMC (ret.)

Keith is a 30-year veteran of the US Marine Corps and retired as a colonel in 2009. Inspired by his father’s service in the US Army Air Force/US Air Force, Keith has been fascinated with of the airplanes of WW II since childhood. An avid student of military history, his lifelong dream has been to preserve history and pass it on to future generations.

Chris Boswell

Chris Boswell

Chris, aka "Gen. Spaatz," is a living history exhibitor/speaker and collector of WWII, Korea, Vietnam, & Cold War memorabilia. He's a board member of the PA Chapter 8th Air Force Historical Society and also serves on the board of the Greater PA Military Vehicle Historical Society and owns many WWII Jeeps. Chris is a board  member of the the Gen. Carl A. Spaatz Memorial Assn.

Vince Zinno

Vince Zinno

Vince is a lifelong student of military history, particularly WWII and the 8th Army Air Force. He has an extensive library of books, films, and documentaries that describe the experiences faced by the "Bomber Boys" and aircraft they flew. Vince has a passion for history and knows the importance of preserving the legacy of all the Fine Young Men who served in the 8th.

Debbie Bertolet

Since moving to Boyertown, Debbie has served on the Building a Better Boyertown Board, the PA Americana Region Board, the Arts and Activities Alliance with Studio B and the Marketing Committee of the new Tourism Department. She also serves on thePhiladelphia Avenue Street Fair Committee, the Progress Dinner Committee and the Borough’s Park and Recreation Board.

Thomas Farmer

Thomas Farmer

Tom flew as a multi-engine pilot with the U.S. Air Force, first serving with the 498th Tactical Bomb Squadron before being reassigned to Tactical Air Command HQ as Chief of Design for New Construction. His experience as an architect led him to become Chief Architect and VP of Sanders & Thomas, then a partner with Spillman and Farmer Architects. He's now retired.

Margaret Harner

Margaret Harner

Margaret discovered Gen. Spaatz while researching Boyertown history and realized his impact on world history and the people he influenced, including Winston Churchill, Franklin D. Roosevelt, and Dwight D. Eisenhower. She focuses on the history and people of Boyertown and has written books such as A Walk Through the Turn of the Century Boyertown and Walking Historic Boyertown.

Charles Haddad

Charles Haddad

Charles served in the US Army, both active duty and reserves. A graduate of the Wharton School and Villanova Law School, he served as the Assistant District Attorney in Philadelphia and Berks County. He has an extensive record of community service in Boyertown, including the Rotary Club, State Theatre Preservation Society, and Building a Better Boyertown.

Herm Marin

Herm Marin

Herm Marin is a retired U.S. Navy Reserve Aviation Machinist's Mate Senior Chief who was also the  Command Senior Chief Petty Officer of Patrol Squadron VP 64 NAS Willow Grove, with 28 years of service. Herm was also employed by Air Products and Chemicals for 36 years and a certified expert welder. Herm is an award winning model builder and classic car/hot rod restorer. He has also served as a volunteer with the Boyertown Museum of Historic Vehicles.  Herm's enthusiasm for preserving WWII military aircraft history is evident in the meticulous detail displayed in the construction of the diorama depicting the 482nd Bomb Group at the General Spaatz Museum.  His working knowledge of aircraft construction was also instrumental in developing the B-17 Bomber flight simulator.

Sylvia Landis

Sylvia Landis

Sylvia Landis enjoyed a career of 35 years in education in the Pottstown School District. She joined The General Carl Spaatz National Army Air Forces Museum board to honor her dad, Joseph Vargo, who served as a tech sergeant training new recruits for the Army Air Corps, and her son, Paul Landis, who served as a senior airman at Hill Air Force Base in Utah.

Sylvia has served on the Creative Health Services, Inc. board in Pottstown, Boyertown Historical Society board, Pottstown SCORE, and The Tri­County Active Adult Center board. Sylvia is inspired by the hard work, determination and dedication of (Ret.) Col. Keith Seiwell. CEO, and fellow museum board members in bringing the museum to completion. She hopes The General Spaatz Museum will be the source of many new opportunities in Boyertown.
